The 2013 SEMA Show Online Marketing Conference will offer attendees education and training from a collection of renowned experts in social media and online marketing.

The 2013 SEMA Show Online Marketing Conference (OMC), held Monday, November 4, from 9:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m. at the Las Vegas Hotel (LVH), will offer attendees education and training from a collection of renowned experts in social media and online marketing. Whether it’s learning the latest pay-per-click, mobile, social media, content or conversion marketing strategies, there will be invaluable tools and resources to help grow your business.

The OMC will include keynote addresses from experts, such as Marty Weintraub of aimClear, Doug Mooney of twitter Automotive, and the closing address by Bryan Eisenberg of bryaneisenberg.com will cover “The Hidden Secrets of Amazon.” In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in fundamental and intermediate-level tracks on critical and timely subjects.

In “You're Doing It All Wrong—Why E-mail Marketing, Facebook Marketing and Other Forms of Retargeting Are the Same Thing,” BlitzMetrics CEO Dennis Yu will show you 10 practical tips you can implement right now. Attendees will walk away with a simple checklist and step-by-step guide on how to tie all their channels together to reach their exact target audiences. Yu will demonstrate how to measure the ROI from retargeting, since your display retargeting will cause an increase in people who search Google for your name and people who are more likely to open your e-mail.

In “9 Marketing Strategies You Must Stop Using,” Kent Lewis, president of Anvil Media, will outline nine marketing strategies to avoid if you want to stay relevant in 2013. If you're planning on utilizing QR codes, content marketing, retargeting or other "current" marketing techniques, this live audio conference will provide insights that may lead you to reconsider. Similarly, if you've avoided the use of landing-page testing, video or content personalization thus far, you will be armed with new insights and inspiration.

Register now and save. Many conferences this caliber typically run $800 per person. SEMA provides this one for $119 (for members) and $219 for non-members if your register before October 15, 2013. Conference registration includes sessions and lunch.

A prototype for the Nismo Nissan GT-R has been caught near the Nürburgring, as it was prepped for some expected hot laps on the famous race/test track. There are rumors that this Nismo version of the GT-R will be an even hotter version of the already-formidable sport coupe, thanks to the always-welcome combination of lighter weight and more power. The engine is rumored to produce 570 hp.

Recent reports have the Nismo GT-R being tweaked and honed by the offshoot of the Williams F1 Team—Williams Advanced Engineering—leading to a number of aerodynamic advancements, which show themselves in some of the new sculpting around the rear flanks and the massive rear wing that was affixed to some of the prototypes.

Autocar magazine has quoted a supposed insider that claims the Nismo GT-R will achieve a 0–60 sprint of 2.0 seconds. Those claims seem outlandish, but the specter of such acceleration will certainly have everyone waiting for the official performance numbers when this model makes its debut at November's Tokyo Motor Show.
