This special evening honors the specialty-equipment industry’s pioneers and dedicated volunteers, 2017 SEMA Hall of Fame inductees—GiGi Carleton, Doug Evans and Barry Meguiar—and the association’s incoming and outgoing SEMA Board members.

A press conference is one of many ways to garner the attention of the 3,000 editors and reporters who attend the Show each year.

The deadline to apply for a press conference at the 2017 SEMA Show is next Friday, July 28. Available exclusively for SEMA Show exhibiting companies, press conferences are a great way to reach a large number of media, but they are not always suited for every type of news announcement.

Here are tips for hosting a press conference.

Submitting an application does not guarantee placement, and press conferences will be scheduled at the discretion of SEMA Show management. Upon submitting an application, an automatic message will be emailed to confirm the application was received. Exhibitors will be notified mid-August with the status of their application, and official dates/times will be confirmed by the first week of September.
