Ford Motor Co. will once again recognize the most significant design achievements at the 2012 SEMA Show with its Ford Motor Co. Corporate Design Awards. Ford presents the awards annually to the vehicles that the automaker feels make a significant contribution to vehicle design and stand apart from all others at the Show.



Awards will be presented for the most significant accomplishments in the following vehicle categories:



• Best of Show

• Best of Show on Ford Corporate Display Stand

• Best Ford Heritage Vehicle

• Outstanding Achievement(s)



A formal presentation of the awards is scheduled for Tuesday, October 30, at 9:15 a.m. in the Ford Motor Company Show Stand located in the Racing & Performance section of the Central Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center. The official presentation will be followed by Ford's press conference at 10:00 a.m.



Ford Motor Company's Corporate Design judging team will review all SEMA Show vehicles on display during Show setup, Sunday, October 28 and Monday, October 29.

To assist the judging team in these efforts, exhibitors are encouraged to submit descriptions, pictures and the Show location of their vehicles to semainfo@ford.com by Wednesday, October 24.

	The annual Media Trade Conference brings together members of the working press with motorsports parts producers for face-to-face private meetings.

Attention media: Registration for the 2013 MPMC Media Trade Conference is now open. The event takes place January 22–24, 2013, at the Embassy Suites Orange County Airport North in Santa Ana, California.

The annual Media Trade Conference, which features companies from SEMA's Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC), brings together members of the working press with motorsports parts producers for face-to-face private meetings. Media reps have the opportunity to meet with up to 14 exhibitors each day of the conference—for a total of 42 quality meetings throughout the event's three days.

When registering online, media will select the manufacturers they most want to meet and indicate those they do not want to meet. A personalized schedule will then be created for the registered media and sent out in early January.
