DUB Show Live Tour at 2010 SEMA Show
A longtime SEMA Show partner, DUB will make the final stop of its 2010 DUB Show Tour Live at the SEMA Show.

The DUB Show Tour Live, a traveling automotive and lifestyle event produced by the popular namesake magazine, will make its final stop of this year's schedule at the 2010 SEMA Show. Located in the outdoor Silver Lot in front of the South Hall, the Tour will offer exhibitors an opportunity to promote new products, feature vehicles and marketing campaigns within the backdrop of today's hottest music and live DJs.

"I remember walking into the SEMA Show more than 18 years ago and being overwhelmed by how powerful SEMA is for the marketing of all the great products and member companies,” says DUB President Myles Kovacs. "I'm still amazed every year at how much the SEMA Show has grown, and SEMA allowing us the opportunity to have the DUB Show Tour Live stop at the 2010 SEMA Show is a huge honor for DUB."

Sponsor programs, open exclusively to 2010 SEMA Show exhibitors, start from $2,500 and include satellite display, signage and more. Take advantage of this new Show attraction and extend your branding message at the SEMA Show and beyond. Space is limited, and companies must be exhibiting at the SEMA Show to participate.

  Magnatude

“Magnatude,” a ’32 Muroc Roadster, was named America’s Most Beautiful Street Rod at the Goodguys 24th West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton, California. With the win, Magnatude made it a clean sweep this year, winning all three major street rod awards offered by the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association. In April, the car won the Goodguys Street Rod d’Elegance crown and was named Goodguys/Classic Instruments Street Rod of the Year in Columbus, Ohio. Owned by Jerry and Maureen Magnuson, hand formed by Marcel and designed by Chip Foose, “Magnatude” is the first car to sweep all three coveted Goodguys awards in the same calendar year.

JEGS Mail Order signed a multi-year agreement with the NHRA to renew its title sponsorship of all three NHRA SPORTSnationals events. The events, which are a part of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, are the JEGS NHRA Cajun SPORTSnationals at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose, Louisiana; the JEGS NHRA Northern SPORTSnationals at historic National Trail Raceway near Columbus, Ohio; and the JEGS NHRA Pacific SPORTSnationals at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, California. The JEGS NHRA SPORTSnationals are NHRA national events designed to showcase several of NHRA's Lucas Oil Series categories exclusively.

NHRA Axes & Axles

Axes & Axles: The Art of Building Cars and Guitars, Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Fender Telecaster, a new exhibition to acknowledge the synergy between guitars (axes) and cars (axles), is on view at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, presented by Automobile of Southern California, from September 4, 2010, through June 30, 2011. The exhibit features a vast collection of rare photographs, rock memorabilia and personal cars and guitars from rock icons such as Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Billy F Gibbons, Jimmie Vaughan and many more. As part of the 60th Anniversary of the Fender Telecaster guitar, the exhibit will also illustrate the history of Fender and celebrate one of the most famous guitars ever built, the Telecaster.

“Guitars and cars have a great deal in common: both are means of expression, both generated fanatical fans and both offer a stairway to freedom,” said Museum Director Tony Thacker. “This new exhibit will showcase the amazing connection of guitars and hot rod building. It’s going to make visitors want to rock!" A variety of educational programs will be presented in conjunction with the exhibition, including guitar demonstrations and a panel discussion with hot rod builders and musicians.
