SEMA Show Starts Off Strong

This year’s SEMA Show booth-selection process was a success. Almost 2,000 exhibitors signed up for priority booth selection, which took place May 2–15, 2013. This represents a 6% increase over last year’s numbers, and a complete, updated floorplan is now available at www.SEMAShow.com. Since 91% of buyers base their decisions on whether to attend the SEMA Show partly on what companies are exhibiting, these numbers are certainly a testament to the early support and enthusiasm for this year’s SEMA Show. Companies are able to sign up any time for exhibit space at www.SEMAShow.com/buyabooth. The SEMA Show is set for November 5–8, 2013, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Registration is now open for the 2013 SEMA Show, Tuesday–Friday, November 5–8, Las Vegas. Attendees, media and exhibitors are invited to register for the annual Show online.

“Preregistering online and obtaining approval in advance of the Show is the most efficient and economical way to obtain Show credentials,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of communications and events. “In addition to paying a lower cost, attendees receive their badges in the mail before the SEMA Show so that they can hit the Show floor running when they arrive.”

Buyer registration, which is available using the “Attendee” link, is available for the early bird rate of $25, and buyers who register prior to the deadline will receive their badges in the mail in advance of the Show. Buyers who have been approved for the SEMA Show in recent years can expedite the process by using the e-mail address they registered previously. Buyers new to the SEMA Show can expedite the registration process by having proof of industry employment ready to upload, such as a business license, business card, pay stubs or similar items. For assistance, contact customer service at 866-229-3687.

Media registration is available using the “Media” link. All media applications may be required to submit proof of media status, regardless of whether or not they have been to the SEMA Show before.
