 SEMA Show Deadlines
Less than two weeks remain until the 2014 SEMA Show kicks off in Las Vegas.

The “SEMA Crunch” is on and in less than two weeks more than 130,000 exhibitors, buyers and media will gather at the annual trade-only 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. While exhibitors keep their plans under wraps to amaze the industry with the hottest new products, the anticipation increases among attendees. Here’s what they are saying:

“Just got my SEMA badge and session tickets...can it top last year’s experience? Looking to get involved and network while there...what did i miss last year?”

“Tis the season for Trade Shows! We'll be at a couple big ones in November! SEMA/AAPEX in Las Vegas and Fabtech in Atlanta!”

“Look out Vegas @SEMA_Show and @AAPEXShow are coming to town!”

“Maybe I don't need a Boyfriend .. But I do need to get to Sema in Vegas”

“Who's ready for #SEMA2014 to just be here already?!”

Don’t miss out. Secure your badge to the 2014 SEMA Show.

The first-ever SEMA Battle of the Builders™ competition will take place at SEMA Ignited, Friday, November 7, 2014.

More than 125 vehicle builders and car customizers have been entered into the first-ever SEMA Battle of the Builders™ competition taking place at SEMA Ignited, Friday, November 7, 2014. The builders represent an elite group of individuals who have demonstrated extreme talent, creativity and craftsmanship in modifying cars, trucks and SUVs.

Editors of leading automotive magazines—Sam Du from Super Street, David Freiburger from Hot Rod, and Fred Williams from Petersen’s 4Wheel & Off Road—will select the Top-10 builders, who will be announced at the 2014 SEMA Show, Tuesday, November 4. These 10 finalists will then judge one another and vote to determine who will be named the ultimate winner in the 2014 SEMA Battle of the Builders™.

The competition is the foundation for a nationwide television special to be aired on the Velocity Network that will be filmed Friday, November 7, from 4:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. at the inaugural SEMA Ignited—an event taking place after the trade-only SEMA Show closes. Hundreds of vehicles will exit the Las Vegas Convention Center after the 2014 SEMA Show ends and make their way to The LINQ near the Las Vegas Strip, where SEMA Ignited will take place. They will join exhibitors, products and celebrities from the SEMA Show at The LINQ, along with food trucks, music and entertainment.

While the SEMA Show is a trade show that is not open to the general public, SEMA Ignited is open to consumers and allows attendees a chance to preview the industry’s latest automotive accessories on many of the 2014 SEMA Show vehicles that were on display during the week.

Who isn’t frustrated with Washington, D.C., gridlock? While one person can’t change the dysfunction, collectively we can help influence the process. Our industry needs your help.

SEMA’s Political Action Committee (SEMA PAC) fights for SEMA members and their businesses in the nation’s capital by supporting the car guys and gals in Congress who have our industry’s back. While you’re at the 2014 SEMA Show, be sure to stop by the SEMA PAC booth (North Hall Upstairs Lobby) to make your voice heard. It takes seconds to become SEMA PAC Approved and there is never an obligation to contribute. When you sign up you’ll even receive a free SEMA PAC pin you can wear with pride all week.

To learn more, contact SEMA PAC Manager Christian Robinson at christianr@sema.org.
