SEMA News—November 2014
A Message From Roy Littlefield
TIA Executive Vice President
On behalf of the Tire Industry Association (TIA), welcome to the 2014 Global Tire Expo—Powered by TIA. The Global Tire Expo (GTE) continues to be a world-class show that is unmatched in the industry. From discovering new products to networking, I hope that you will take advantage of all the opportunities that GTE has to offer.
I am excited that the Global Tire Expo continues to experience growth and am pleased to welcome many new exhibitors. TIA has worked closely with our valuable partner SEMA to ensure this year’s show will be a tremendous success.
I encourage you to attend TIA’s popular educational session tracks TPMS@10, Truck Tires@10, and Tires@2, led by some of the industry’s top experts. Topics will include “Tire Dealers Share TPMS Success,” “TPMS Troubleshooting,” “CSA and the Changing Face of Truck Tire Service,” “Identifying Hazards in Commercial Tire Service,” and more. This year we’ve added a new track, Management@2, featuring an informative session on social media on Wednesday and risk management on Thursday.
I invite you to stop by the TIA booth #40069 in the Lower South Hall, visit with our staff, learn about our training programs, and meet with some of our member benefit partners, including:
- Altus Global Trade Solutions (collection services)
- Federated Insurance (business insurance)
- HotRod Processing (credit card processing)
- National General Benefits Solution (health insurance)
- Net Driven (digital marketing solutions)
Each of our partners offers exclusive savings to TIA members that can help improve your business’ bottom line.
Whether you are an exhibitor or attendee, your support of the Global Tire Expo and TIA helps keep our industry strong. I thank you for being here and hope you enjoy the Expo and your stay in Las Vegas!
Sincerely,

Roy Littlefield
Executive Vice President
Tire Industry Association
The 2013 SEMA Show was by all accounts a record breaker. More people attended, there were more international visitors and more booth space was taken than ever before in SEMA’s history. I’m happy to report that the 2014 Show is on track to exceed all of those numbers. This year has been a great year for business, and we are all hoping for an even better 2015—and the 2014 SEMA Show is the right place to kick it all off.
