Technical Customer Service Representative: Turbosmart USA LLC is hiring a technical customer service representative to accurately process sales orders, perform various administrative tasks to support the sales team, and assist walk-in customers with product inquiries. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a technical customer service role; at least one year of experience in a factory, warehouse or workshop; and technical knowledge of turbochargers and Turbosmart products.
Demand Planner: Transamerican Auto Parts is hiring a demand planner to develop unconstrained demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function; review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results; and conduct and lead meetings with sales, supply-chain and high-level executives to understand key demand forecast drivers. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in supply-chain management, at least two years in a high-volume consumer durable goods industry; and strong analytical, problem-solving skills and knowledge of modern best-practice methods.
Social Media Marketing Manager: Cognito Motorsports Inc. is hiring a social-media marketing manager responsible for implementing and maintaining email and social-media marketing campaigns and interfacing with various clients in the truck, SUV and UTV industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working in the truck or UTV aftermarket; proven experience managing social-media content on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube; and verifiable experience managing website maintenance, SEO, Google Analytics and data analysis.
CNC Machine Operator: JMS is hiring a CNC machine operator responsible for machine warm up, loading raw materials onto pre-built fixtures, loading pre-built CNC files that control the machining operations, inspecting machined parts, normal daily maintenance and cleaning the machine. JMS will train candidates with no experience.
Oracle Developer: FOX Factory Inc. is hiring an Oracle developer to design, develop and deliver database and application components for the company’s global single instance Oracle E-Business Suite using the Oracle development toolset. The position is full-stack development working in a team environment. The ideal candidate should have a B.S. in computer science, IT, programing, development and/or equivalent, and five to seven years as an Oracle developer.

Themed “Success Starts Here” the 2018 SEMA Industry Awards Banquet, held Thursday, November 1, at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, celebrated the specialty-equipment market’s contributors and innovators. Guided by emcees Jarod DeAnda and Jessi Combs, the evening also featured live music from blues-inspired rock-pop artist ZZ Ward.
About 2,500 automotive aftermarket industry attendees paid tribute to the newest members of the SEMA Hall of Fame—industry pioneers, volunteers and personalities who helped to pave the way and shape a specialty automotive marketplace that is now $43 billion strong. The 2018 Hall of Fame inductees were Donnie Eatherly, Ed Pink and Chris Thomson.
The annual celebration included an awards program in which SEMA's Person of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, GEN-III Innovator of the Year, Manufacturers’ Rep Agency of the Year and Warehouse Distributor of the Year honors were presented. The winners were:
- Person of the Year – Melanie White – President, Hellwig Suspension Products
- Manufacturer of the Year – Aeromotive Inc.
- GEN-III Innovator of the Year – Jon Pulli – CEO, Turn 14 Distribution
- Manufacturers’ Rep Agency of the Year – Bob Cook Sales
- Warehouse Distributor of the Year – Turn 14 Distribution
“I’m so honored to be recognized among so many truly outstanding people in our industry, really I just feel incredibly lucky,” White said. “I work in an amazing industry filled with passionate people. I have some outstanding industry friends. And I work daily with amazing people. Above all, I get to carry on the Hellwig tradition that my great grandfather started, and my grandfather and father grew. SEMA does some incredible stuff for their members, and I’m so lucky that I get to be a part of that volunteer network.”
