The SEMA Battle of the Builders competition brings together the best vehicle builders in the country.

Thousands of automotive editors and reporters attend the SEMA Show each year in search of the hottest, most eye-catching vehicles to fill the pages of their publications. But with more than 2,400 exhibiting companies, getting the media’s attention can be a challenge.

To make your vehicle stand out, bring your one-of-a-kind build to the forefront of the SEMA Show by entering the SEMA Battle of the Builders competition. Open exclusively to booth and feature vehicles, this builder competition is the ultimate showdown of some of the best rides on display at the SEMA Show.

Competing alone brings additional exposure as the vehicles and products are featured in SEMA’s publications, on-site signage, at SEMA Ignited and on social media. Judged by a panel of automotive experts, the top vehicles will be announced during the 2016 SEMA Show where the builders and their sponsoring companies will be interviewed and photographed by hundreds of media outlets.

Hundreds of Jeep owners arrived during Omix-ADA’s Jeep Heritage Expo to showcase their Jeeps in the Show & Shine and compete for awards in multiple categories.

Celebrating 75 years of Jeep, Omix-ADA gathered hundreds of Jeep enthusiasts on July 16 to honor its history. The first annual Jeep Heritage Expo kicked off with hundreds of custom Jeeps arranged in different Show & Shine categories along with Omix-ADA’s own 30 rare Jeeps ranging from very early ’41 prototypes to the latest ’16 Wranglers.

Omix-ADA rolled out the red carpet for attendees, inviting them to get an exclusive look at its extensive historic Jeep collection. The collection’s highlights include one of 100 original ’41 Bantam BRC models in existence, to which Jeep owes its historic lineage; a World War II-era Ford GPA amphibious Jeep intended to cross rivers and lakes; and a rare ’46 Willys CJ-2A Jeep originally customized with farming implements. The farm Jeep is equipped with a front PTO winch, an engine-driven air compressor, a rear towing boom, a Newgren buzz saw with table, and dual tires for improved stability in the dirt.

Hundreds of Jeep owners arrived during the Expo to showcase their Jeeps in the Show & Shine and compete for awards in multiple categories. All entry fees were donated to the American Diabetes Association—totaling $3,500 in one day.

Those who were unable to visit in person may download images from Omix-ADA’s gallery of the inaugural Jeep Heritage Expo.
