George Lathouris of Keystone Automotive was inducted into the TORA Hall of Fame.

The Truck and Off-Road Alliance (TORA) held an industry reception Wednesday evening, where professionals from the light-truck segment gathered to network and have some fun racing Pinewoods to benefit SEMA Cares charities.

George Lathouris of Keystone Automotive was inducted into the TORA Hall of Fame. Established in 2006, the Hall of Fame immortalizes the lifetime accomplishments of exceptional individuals in the light-truck accessory segment.

Terry’s Toppers was named 2016 TORA Retailer of the Year. The award is given to honor an outstanding light-truck accessory retailer for serving as an example of excellence and professionalism that have enhanced the stature and annual growth of the industry within the candidate's community.

Mark Turner of Daystar was honored with the 2016 TORA Rob Webster Memorial Award for Engineering Excellence.

Mark Turner of Daystar was honored with the 2016 TORA Rob Webster Memorial Award for Engineering Excellence. Ron Webster, president and founder of Guidon Truck Covers, was one of the original members of TCIA, which later became TCAA, then TORA.

An engineer by education, he developed many early innovations in the truck cap industry. The Ron Webster Memorial Award for Engineering Excellence was created in his honor. This award is not necessarily presented each year, but is bestowed as viable candidates are nominated and selected.

SEMA Show visitors are invited to check out the Arctic Cat UTV Experience, which includes the ability to ride along in a brand-new ’17 high-performance Arctic Cat Wildcat piloted by a professional driver on a specially built off-road course located just outside the LVCC’s South Hall.

Along with demo rides, Arctic Cat has a full off-road event and accessories display where attendees can experience the company’s Virtual Reality and other event activation touch points which continue to drive customer conversion to Arctic Cat high-performance products.

The SEMA News team talked with Arctic Cat Chief Marketing Officer Greg Williamson about the company’s SEMA Show exhibit.
