A brand-new feature—the SEMA Show Reveal—took place during Monday evening’s Exhibitor Appreciation Reception. The event is designed to provide media early access to some of the most significant vehicles debuting at the 2017 Show. The builders were also on hand to discuss their work and the product upgrades they selected for the vehicles. Spotlighted builders included the likes of Brad DeBerti, Chip Foose, Alan Johnson, Dave Kindig, Tommy Pike and Kyle Tucker.

Here’s look at some of the vehicles and the builders that took the stage during Monday evening’s newest Show feature.

Kristin Barclay of Focus Daily News presents Nissan North America’s Janelle Grigsby with awards for Alternative Powertrain Vehicle of the Year, the Nissan Leaf, and Compact SUV of the Year, the Nissan Rogue.

Janelle Grigsby, West Coast regional PR manager of Nissan North America, accepted awards for Alternative Powertrain Vehicle of the Year, the Nissan Leaf, and Compact SUV of the Year, the Nissan Rogue. Sponsored by the Texas Automotive Media Association, the AutoJudge Awards for automobiles, SUVs, and pickups celebrated their 12th anniversary at the 2017 SEMA show.

In a Rogue Trip Challenge, Kristin and Jasmine Cosme drove the Nissan Rogue from Nashville to New York City earlier this year, capturing an award of $5,000 for Cancer Research. The Nissan Leaf is the top-selling electric vehicle of the world. The 2017 model boasted a range of 107 miles on a single electric charge. The new model, coming out in early 2018, will improve that figure to more than 150 miles on a single charge.

Roadster Shop and Honeywell Garrett partnered to present famous fabricator Jesse James a hand-built, twin-turbocharged Polara at the 2017 SEMA Show.

The Roadster Shop and Honeywell Garrett unveiled a one-off, twin-turbocharged 1964 Dodge Polara built for Jesse James on the opening day of the 2017 SEMA Show.

The Polara is powered by a 426ci Wegner Motorsports-built Hemi, with a custom intake manifold and stainless turbo manifold, connected to twin Honeywell Garrett GTX3582R turbochargers. Cooling is handled by a Honeywell Garrett air-to-water intercooler and a radiator and heat exchanger built by Ron Davis. To put the power to the ground, the Mopar utilizes a Tremec T-56 transmission modified by Blower Transmission, coupled with a Driveshaft Shop driveshaft and a Strange Engineering rearend.

The Diecast Hall of Fame ceremony will be held Thursday, November 2, from 9:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m., at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, where the 2017 inductees will be announced.
