Entrance into the event is free for credentialed SEMA Showgoers. Students and military members are free but must still register for tickets. Children age 12 and under are free with a paid general admission ticket.

SEMA Ignited connects the general public with industry leaders, celebrities and award-winning custom vehicles. The Friday-night festival takes place immediately after the SEMA Show closes on November 6, from 3:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

As vehicles exit the Las Vegas Convention Center, they will parade across the street and congregate in what is known as the Gold Lot. The customized rides will be displayed in either a hot-rod, truck, sport-compact or general village area for consumers to get up close with vehicles that feature new and innovative products from the 2015 SEMA Show.

The night will include vehicle demonstrations, automotive celebrities and plenty of entertainment.

As of June 2015, new government regulations took effect to help restore what has commonly become known as net neutrality—or equal access to the Internet.

As of June 2015, telecommunications and cable companies were knocked back on their heels when new government regulations took effect prohibiting those companies from allowing some company websites to download faster than others. The move restores what has commonly become known as net neutrality—or equal access to the Internet.

For businesses, the new rules issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) ensure that their competitors cannot cut special deals with telcos and cable companies to give preferential download treatment to their websites and web properties. Put another way: A giant company that uses a lot of video to promote its brand can no longer cut a deal with a broadband provider to ensure that its video downloads quicker than, say, the promotional video a much smaller company uploads
to YouTube.

Person of the Year: The SEMA Person of the Year Award was established in 1969 to honor individuals for their outstanding contributions to the association and the automotive aftermarket as a whole. In order to assist the Person of the Year Task Force in making its selection, a brief statement, including the nominee’s accomplishments, is required at the time of submission.
