2015 project vehicle
Exhibitors can use the Project-Vehicle Builders form to offer parts to builders planning to construct a project vehicle for the 2016 SEMA Show.

Exhibitors at the 2016 SEMA Show are invited to expand their reach, product exposure and Show-floor presence by offering products to builders through the Products for Project-Vehicle Builders list. The list connects manufacturers with builders looking to create or complete a vehicle project—offering exhibitors the additional exposure of their product displayed on today’s hottest custom vehicles.

Updated each week in SEMA eNews, the association’s electronic newsletter, the list features product offers and contact information provided by confirmed SEMA Show exhibitors. Builders interested in obtaining a product can use the information listed to contact exhibitors directly. With all project vehicles required to be supported by a current 2016 SEMA Show exhibitor, all product-placement decisions, negotiations and agreements are the responsibility of the exhibiting manufacturer and the builder.

Exhibitors: Each submission will appear on a first-come, first-served basis beginning June 2016. All submissions are due by Friday, October 7, 2016.

Builders: If you are building a vehicle for the 2016 SEMA Show, consider submitting an application to participate in the Battle of the Builders competition. The competition will be held during SEMA Ignited—an extravaganza that will close out the 2016 SEMA Show, and includes food, music, celebrities, iconic builders and displays. The event gives the public, media, SEMA Show exhibitors, attendees and guests a rare opportunity to collect and share images of hundreds of customized vehicles featuring the newest and most innovative products from the SEMA Show. Battle of the Builders features elite automotive builders from across the nation competing for the title of Top Builder. For more information, visit www.semaignited.com.

Note: For verification purposes, the Project-Vehicle Builders form must be used to participate in the program; email submissions will not be included in the list. Participation in the list does not guarantee product or vehicle placement at the 2016 SEMA Show.

The list is open to exhibitors of the 2016 SEMA Show only. Exhibitors: To be included in the list, access the form online.

Nearly 40 industry companies will participate in the first-ever SEMA Show Student Career Day, taking place Monday, October 31, from 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m., in the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

The recent “SEMA Industry Employment Perspective Study” found that 95% of companies in the automotive aftermarket industry will need to hire new employees with specific skills in the next five years. The No. 1 problem, according to the study, is that companies don’t know where to look for the highly skilled employees they will need in the future.

The SEMA Show is here to help. But hurry, space is running out. Join the nearly 40 industry companies that have already committed to participate in the first-ever SEMA Show Student Career Day, taking place Monday, October 31, from 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m., in the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

Each company will be provided a complimentary table with signage, and students will walk around and talk to different company representatives. The goal is to educate the students about the diversity of career opportunities available in the automotive industry. Companies will want to share what they do, the types of positions for which they typically hire and the skill sets they seek. If actively hiring, SEMA will provide an indicator that can be placed on the company’s sign.

Should an interview opportunity arise, SEMA can assist in scheduling a time and location. For the first-time, SEMA will host a Career Center at the Show that will be located in the Upper North Hall outside N251 (the Members Lounge), where free professional headshots, LinkedIn consultations and the ability to preview jobs and applicants will be offered.

The registration deadline for this all-new special event is Friday, October 7.

Companies can register by emailing SEMA’s Senior Director of Education Zane Clark.

Please provide the following information:

  • Exact spelling of your company’s name.
