The Emerging Trends and Technology Network (ETTN) reception attracted automotive engineering professionals to connect with each other and make new contacts. The reception is also the setting for the network’s award presentations, including two new honors for this year: The ETTN Genius Award and ETTN Techie Award.

Mark Heffington of Hypertech Inc. was honored with the ETTN Genius award—given to recognize and honor outstanding individuals whose creative, genius innovation has made significant contributions toward advancing technology that positively impacts the growth and progress of the automotive industry.

Truck Hero has partnered with Complete Customs on the Taya Kyle-Edition Jeep, unveiled at a opening-day SEMA Show press conference in Truck Hero’s Silver Lot space, #61040.

Honorary guest Taya Kyle, wife of American Sniper Chris Kyle and Fox News contributor, appeared on behalf of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation.

WD-40, along with SEMA Cares and leading specialty equipment manufacturers, debuted a ’67 Chevrolet Camaro build that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the SEMA Show and the 50th anniversary of the Camaro.

The Camaro, which is on display in the WD-40 Company booth #62129, will be auctioned in 2017 to benefit to Childhelp®, an organization that provides services to abused and neglected children, and the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to students entering the automotive aftermarket.

The vehicle will be featured as the official 50th Anniversary Vehicle of the SEMA Show and will be the lead vehicle in the SEMA Cruise that concludes the Show, Friday, November 4.

Build partners that have donated product for use on the Camaro include Eckler’s, Budnik Wheels, Axalta, Eibach, Falken Tires, Baer Brake Systems, LR Auto Body and Optima Batteries.
