Powersports SEMA Show
To reach more powersports buyers, exhibitors can secure a kiosk located in the Powersports & Utility Vehicle section in the upper South Hall, while maintaining their primary booth in another area of the Show.

With hundreds of SEMA Show exhibitors offering products for the powersports market, SEMA Show organizers are expanding the Powersports & Utility Vehicle section of the 2011 event. Through manufacturer kiosks that will be placed in the Powersports & Utility Vehicle section, exhibitors with booths in one of the Show’s 11 other sections will be able to increase awareness, market their products and effectively reach powersports buyers in the most logical and appropriate area of the Show.

“The number of members branching into the powersports market continues to grow each year,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of communications and events. “The new kiosks provide traditional SEMA Show exhibitors that have powersports lines with an efficient and affordable way to participate in the powersports area of the Show.”

The kiosk program is open to manufacturers already exhibiting in one of the SEMA Show’s 11 other sections. For a nominal fee, exhibitors can secure a kiosk that will be located in the Powersports & Utility Vehicle section in the upper South Hall, while maintaining their primary booth in another area of the Show. The kiosk will feature the manufacturer’s branding and marketing materials so that targeted buyers will be able to see what the manufacturer has to offer.

To reserve your kiosk, click here or contact Rebecca Mitchell at 702/216-5851 or e-mail rmitchell@convexx.com.

Cover of the SEMA Show Daily

Pre-show publications, including the SEMA Show Daily, provide the ideal opportunity for exhibitors to advertise new products, project vehicles and special events and activities.

Promotion is sometimes overlooked in pre-Show planning because the emphasis is on developing new products, building project vehicles and finishing booth displays. However, once the doors to the SEMA Show open, companies that invest in promotion typically experience increases in traffic, which translate into more leads and more connections with key decision makers.

One way to generate buzz for your new products and services is by using paid advertising and sponsorship packages to further elevate your company's profile at the Show, generating both traffic to your booth and getting buyers focused on your products.

There are packages and programs designed to fit every budget, including advertising in SEMA News, the SEMA Show Daily, the Show Directory and the Pocket Guide.

For complete details, including special discounts, contact Joe Sebergandio at Motor Media, 818/248-4449 or e-mail Joe at sales@motormediainc.com.

SEMA's member forums offer opportunities for members to network and sound off about topics that are important to them in a variety of areas that affect businesses today.

Where has the love gone? Is automotive passion lost on today’s youth?

In a recent post on the Youth Market forum on SEMA.org regarding whether youth interest in automobiles is declining, Claudia Soto of MSD Ignition said:

“I think in addition to the increase in technology and the perception that cars are merely a source of transportation and nothing more within this young generation, the lack of face to face communication has created empathy within this young group. There really is no passion, no interests in anything outside the video games, texts, e-mails, social media, etc.”

What do you think? Is youth interest declining? Does it threaten the industry's future? We encourage you to join the discussion here.
