seal
Travel Planners includes this seal on all e-mail communications with SEMA exhibitors and attendees, as well as on their website. If you do not see this seal on a website or e-mail that promotes hotel rooms for the SEMA Show, it is not an official SEMA provider.

As the SEMA Show quickly approaches, exhibitors may be contacted by non-official contractors offering them “better deals” on items and services at the SEMA Show. The SEMA Show only contracts with and endorses SEMA's Official Service Contractors. Contractors are held accountable to provide the best possible customer service and ensure consistent and negotiated rates to all exhibitors at the SEMA Show.

SEMA does not sell exhibitor lists or contact information to anyone. Companies often use public information available on the Internet to acquire exhibitors’ contact information. SEMA only provides an exhibitor list to its Official Service Contractors to inform your company about services they provide at the SEMA Show.

In particular, note that SEMA has contracted with Travel Planners to be the official housing company for the 2013 SEMA Show. Please be vigilant if approached by any other company or service other than Travel Planners that implies or claims to be an official housing provider of the SEMA Show. Show organizers have been made aware of other housing companies or travel agencies that may be aggressively pursuing exhibitors to book your guest rooms through their company at supposedly significant discounts. Travel Planners is NOT making any outbound sales calls, and reservations made through an agency other than Travel Planners will be at each individual’s own risk.

Companies that are NOT affiated with the SEMA Show include:

  • Book My Rooms LLC
  • Convention Housing Management
  • Convention Expo Travel
  • Elite Corporate Planners
  • Expo Housing
  • Global Housing Management (GHM Travel)
  • HDMC Group
  • IEP Group
  • International Events
  • Le Company LLC
  • TradeShow Housing
  • Wholesale Travel Planners

For one week each year, the SEMA Show gathers the largest collection of outfitted, upgraded dirt shredders, people haulers and street machines that exist with the specialty-equipment industry. With the intent of turning heads, sparking ideas and igniting the imagination, these vehicles serve as mobile canvases for technicians and product engineers to realize their creative visions and provide a visual representation of what the industry and its companies are all about.

A new photo collection of the vehicles that helped make the 2012 SEMA Show a visual extravaganza are included each week in SEMA eNews. This week features a collection of Volkswagens.

The shooters at KGP Photography have provided the first physical evidence proving that Nissan is actively working on a new Titan pickup, thanks to this mule caught testing in the Rockies. The fullsize truck is heavily modified from the A-pillar forward, camouflaged to hide a larger grille and thoroughly changed front bumper compared to the current Titan. The mule also has its headlights set high and very wide, forcing large protrusions on the front fascia, suggesting increased width over the current truck.

Sources say that Nissan's cancelled cooperation with Dodge—which would have resulted in a RAM-based, next-generation Titan—means that the next Titan will use an updated version of the Titan's existing architecture. The truck's styling, however, will stick to the design that was frozen while the RAM/Titan program was still a go, with some minor changes for compatibility reasons. Elements of that new styling are likely in place on the disguised front fascia of this test mule to bring the most accurate testing data to Nissan engineers.

The ’15 Titan is expected to offer a Cummins 2.8L diesel engine to increase fuel-economy, aided by a thorough weight reduction. A regular cab Titan will also be offered, along with a greater focus on work trucks.
