The WTC Keeps Rolling
For the Wheel & Tire Council (WTC), SEMA Show week started with a very successful general membership meeting that included a presentation on technology by SEMA’s Vice President of Vehicle Technology John Waraniak and another by Tim Dietz of Standards Testing Labs, who discussed the history and future of testing standard J2530.
Attendees at the WTC Reception took full advantage of the networking opportunities that evening.

The changing of the guard: David Insull (right), current chairman of the WTC, honored and thanked Tim Dietz (left), the outgoing chairman.
WTC Reception Sponsors
WTC would like to thank the following sponsors, who made the reception possible.
From there, the WTC turned its attention poolside. The Las Vegas Renaissance once again served as the backdrop for the tropical-themed networking reception and awards presentation.
Adorned with WTC-logoed Hawaiian shirts, the select committee hosted a networking mixer that provided guests with the opportunity to discuss business, share strategies for the future, expand their contact networks and build new partnerships.
Led by David Insull of American Tire Distributors and Joe Shaefer of Konig Motoring Accessories, the awards presentation started by recognizing the sponsors, whose generous support, vision and commitment to the industry made the reception possible. Then it was time for the awards presentation. Check out the accompanying photos and captions to get a flavor of the evening.
