The Truck and Off-Road Alliance (TORA) will make its presence known at the much-anticipated Easter Jeep Safari (EJS) in Moab, Utah. Although avid off-roaders and TORA members already attend this annual four-wheeling event, TORA members are getting together this year for the first time to celebrate all things off-road at an TORA-hosted reception. All members—and especially anyone interested in learning more about the council—are welcome to join TORA leadership Thursday, March 29, at Grandpa’s Garage. If you don’t know who Grandpa is, you need to make it a point to meet this local off-roading legend!

Grandpa has offered up his garage for the casual affair, where he expects many a tired off-roader to seek shelter, enjoy beverages and be in good company, if only for an hour. The one-hour gathering starts at 7:00 p.m. and will be located at 4061 Thurman Ct., Moab, UT 84532.

There will be free drinks, appetizers and a chance to make connections with some of the most influential professionals in the light-truck accessory community.

Kathryn Reinhardt, TORA chair and director of marketing at MagnaFlow, has been going to EJS on and off for the past 10 years. She shed light on what to expect when visiting Grandpa’s Garage after a long day out in the trails: “They put out coolers, tables, chairs and fire pits, and we hang out and have some drinks and some laughs. And we talk about the experiences we’ve had throughout the day.”

The reception is a relaxing occasion. Indeed, it may very well be the perfect place for off-roaders and light-truck enthusiasts to meet new friends.

“We know that you’re coming and you’re going to be wheeling every single day,” Reinhardt said. “After a long day at the trails, come relax and visit the TORA reception on Thursday night at Grandpa’s Garage. We’d love to host you. We’d love to have some laughs and talk about your experiences and hear about your vehicle parts. Let’s make new relationships for business.”
