Top Three Reasons To Join ARMO

Member News, Aftermarket News, Automobile Events, Automotive Business,
ARMO produces a New Product Showcase at the Spring Carlisle event held each April in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, providing unparalleled exposure for member businesses.

Networking Opportunities: The primary strength of the Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) is its member companies. The organization provides multiple venues for ARMO members to interact and share ideas through its long-range planning meetings, new-products mixer and awards reception at the SEMA Show as well as discussion groups on mySEMA and social media websites.

Education: The annual ARMO education seminars at the Hot Rod & Restoration Trade Show bring industry leaders and experts together to share their real-world experience with small-business owners, providing tips and insights to help them grow their businesses. The ARMO Restoration Trademark Licensing Guide provides ARMO members with the basic forms needed to begin the process of getting products licensed by an original-equipment manufacturer. The licensing guide is available through the SEMA Education Institute.

Supporting Hobby Growth: ARMO recognizes the importance of the individual hobbyist to the industry. ARMO therefore supports Collector Car Appreciation Day activities across the country and produces a New Product Showcase at the Spring Carlisle event held each April in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. In addition, ARMO’s “Take a Kid to a Car Show” program strives to get children involved in automotive hobbies at an early age.

ARMO Member Testimonial

I strongly support the ARMO council and the tasks it fulfills. It is a great watchdog for our hobby and always has innovative ideas for education, youth involvement and government and OEM affairs. The great thing about the energetic council is that members can volunteer their time in order to help with subcommittee tasks. By joining ARMO, you will have great interaction among fellow businesses that will greatly enhance your own.

Message From The Chair Of ARMO

As the restoration industry grows and evolves, I can think of no better time to become an ARMO member. ARMO’s leadership is focused on providing tangible benefits to our members and creating programs based on member feedback. For instance, we completely revamped our reception at the SEMA Show when networking was identified as the number-one desired benefit by our members, cutting the awards program down to just 20 minutes and leaving over 90 minutes for networking with the “who’s who” in the restoration industry. From our “Take a Kid to a Car Show” program and education initiatives to licensing guides, ARMO is focused on and dedicated to promoting the restoration industry.

ARMO Select Committee Testimonial

The restoration industry has been a huge facet of my life. It’s rewarding to volunteer time to work on projects and give a little bit back. ARMO-member companies are made up of people who are participants in the very hobby that makes our industry. A membership in ARMO provides access to and networking opportunities with those same people.
