THRIVING EXHIBITOR INTEREST RESULTS IN FIRST-TIME AND FEATURED EXHIBITORS SECTION OF THE SEMA SHOW
-- Newly created area features hundreds of exhibitors on the Show floor within the Las Vegas Convention Center --

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (July 11, 2011) - To accommodate the growing number of manufacturers signing up for the 2011 SEMA Show, organizers have created a new area within the Show floor called the First-Time and Featured Exhibitors Section. The area will be located adjacent to key Show features and is expected to have a constant stream of buyer traffic throughout the four days of the SEMA Show.

"We're excited about this new area of the SEMA Show," said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA VP of events and communications. "The section gives buyers a single place to see and meet with hundreds of first-time exhibitors."

More than 1,800 manufacturers have already committed to exhibiting at the 2011 SEMA Show, and new booth space applications continue to come in on a regular basis. Because the booth space selection process has already passed, space is now assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Exhibitors generally choose to exhibit in one of twelve SEMA Show sections that corresponds to their market segment, such as Racing & Performance, Mobile Electronics, Trucks & SUVs, etc. The new First-Time and Featured Exhibitors area will include manufacturers from a variety of market segments, with about 80 percent representing first-time exhibitors.

The new section will be located in the East side of the upper level of South Hall. Also located in the area will be Ideas Alive, the name and theme for the 2011 SEMA Show New Products Showcase.

"We're confident that buyers will be attracted to the First-Time and Featured Exhibitors area," said MacGillivray. "Because it's on the Show floor adjacent to some of the most popular features, buyers will not have to walk far to meet with these new exhibitors."

The 2011 SEMA Show takes place Tuesday-Friday, November 1-4, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada. With more than 100,000 industry professionals in attendance each year, the show is the premier annual trade gathering for the automotive accessories industry.
