SEMA Show Exhibitors Prepare to Select Booth Space

Diamond Bar, California (May 3, 2010) –  Manufacturers who have not yet applied to exhibit at the 2010 SEMA Show have until May 7, 2010 to take part in the Priority Booth Space Selection Process. The three-week process allows exhibitors an opportunity to select the actual location of their SEMA Show booth, as well as learn more about ways they can increase exposure and/or save money.

“The space selection process is significant because it’s the first real step leading up to exhibiting at the SEMA Show,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA VP Communications & Events. “More importantly, however, is that it allows us an opportunity to start working with exhibitors to help maximize the return on their investment.”

Since the 2010 SEMA Show Exhibit Space Rental Agreements were made available in March, more than 1,000 companies have committed to exhibiting at the event. Included in this number is more than 100 first-time exhibitors.

“We’re pleased to see so many new exhibitors sign up this early in the process,” said MacGillivray. While the SEMA Show typically includes nearly 500 first-time exhibitors, such companies usually sign up later in the process. “It is important that we work closely with all exhibitors so that they are aware of all the money-saving programs that are available. However, it’s especially critical for those exhibiting for the first time to know about the many ways we can help them be successful.”
In addition to account representatives who work closely with exhibitors throughout the year, SEMA Show organizers are conducting for the first time a SEMA Show Exhibitor Summit. The three-day event scheduled for May 25-27 is a low-cost workshop where exhibitors will meet with and listen to show staff and experts in Las Vegas. Open to all 2010 SEMA Show exhibitors at absolutely no cost, registration includes hotel accommodations and meals. The first 70 companies to register will receive a $250 that can be applied to the cost of their Freeman show services.

“We’re confident that exhibitors participating in the Exhibitor Summit will discover new ways to save money and better connect with buyers,” said MacGillivray. “We’re looking forward to helping these exhibitors achieve their goals.”

In order to participate in the Priority Booth Space Selection Process, exhibitor applications must be received by May 7, 2010, along with a deposit. Payment plan options are available to assist companies with cash flow issues.

The SEMA Show takes place Tuesday-Friday, November 2-5, 2010, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The annual trade show consistently attracts more than 100,000 industry professionals and is not open to the general public.
