The SEMA Student Program gives students an unparalleled chance to fully experience all aspects and segments of the industry in a single place—the SEMA Show.

Message to Students: The Industry Has a Place for You

The SEMA Student Program Provides a Look at All Segments of the Industry in a Single Location

Over the past seven years, the association has hosted the SEMA Student Program to give students and educators the opportunity to attend the annual SEMA Show. Once again, SEMA is looking forward to partnering with schools to bring students to SEMA Show 2010.

The purpose of the program is to provide students enrolled in automotive educational programs with the opportunity to experience the Show, network with potential future employers and key decision makers and learn about the exciting specialty-equipment industry. Students will also be invited to attend a welcome reception as well as the Young Executives Network and Manufacturers’ Reps Council breakfasts, and they will have the opportunity to work in exhibitors’ booths. The program provides a unique learning experience that integrates the students’ field of study with actual business and trade-show opportunities.

Visiting the SEMA Show gives students an unparalleled chance to fully experience all aspects and segments of the industry in a single place. Students often learn about potential careers they weren’t previously aware of or make key contacts that lead to future jobs.

Attendees in the SEMA Student Program have the opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s most prestigious leaders, including SEMA Chair-Elect Paul “Scooter” Brothers, who spoke at the 2009 Young Executives Network breakfast attended by the students.
