Ginger Glover joined her parents, Jesse and Barbara Rawls, at Truckers Toy Store in 2000. She quickly realized that the company would need several changes in order to better serve its customers and future growth. As a result, she implemented a uniform program for employees that emphasized the importance of image and first impressions. Glover also saw a need to update the company’s point-of-sales system. Her next task was to build internal consensus for a new store in Wilson, North Carolina. While the new location got underway, Glover continued to position the company for the future. She implemented ASE and SEMA certification for employees. She also had Truckers Toy Store participate in the ProPledge Pilot program. |
