New SEMA Show Event Gives Journalists Advance Preview of Vehicle Debuts
-- SEMA Show Cruise In Takes Place Monday, Oct. 30 --

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (July 31, 2017) – Media and exhibitors at the 2017 SEMA Show will get an advance preview of select vehicles during the Cruise In, a new feature that will take place during the SEMA Show Exhibitor Appreciation Reception on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017.

As exhibitors unwind from booth setup and prepare for the opening day of the premier automotive trade show, top vehicles will roll onto a stage in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center, where builders will be on hand to share details and stories about the celebrated vehicles.

“The Exhibitor Appreciation Reception has become a signature event of the SEMA Show,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA Vice President of Communications and Events. “We’re excited to add this new element to the event and showcase a few key vehicles with the media. It will give participants a glimpse of what to expect and build momentum going into the week.”

The Cruise In will begin at 4:00 pm, following the annual Media Preview Exclusive, which takes place from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, also on Monday, Oct. 30. Presented by the Truck and Off-Road Alliance (TORA), the Media Preview Exclusive features nearly two-dozen exhibitors and caters specifically to editors and reporters.

“While the SEMA Show is the best place for media to see new automotive trends and see new product debuts, the trade show is designed primarily to connect manufacturers with buyers,” said MacGillivray. “Events such as the Media Preview Exclusive and the Cruise In recognize that media from all over the world come to the SEMA Show for editorial content.”

The Cruise In and the Media Preview Exclusive, along with media credentials to the SEMA Show, are all free to qualified journalists. Registration is available at www.semashow.com/register. To learn more about the Cruise In and how to participate, contact 909-396-0289.
