New Cummins R2.8 OEM CAD Data Now Available Through Tech Transfer

The Cummins R2.8 Turbo Diesel is a four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which currently makes 267 lb.-ft. of torque (1,500-3,000 rpm) and 161 hp at 3,600 rpm. 

OEM CAD data for the new Cummins R2.8 crate engine is now available through the SEMA Garage Tech Transfer program. For the first time, SEMA has partnered with an engine manufacturer to provide CAD data to SEMA Tech Transfer members. The Cummins R2.8 Turbo Diesel is a four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which currently makes 267 lb.-ft. of torque (1,500–3,000 rpm) and 161 hp at 3,600 rpm. 

“We are very excited to add Cummins to our list of OEM partners supplying CAD data to SEMA Tech Transfer members” said Warren Kosikov, SEMA senior director, OEM relations. “This new Cummins crate engine will no doubt be very popular with both aftermarket parts manufacturers and vehicle builders."
