2015 SEMA Show Transportation Update

By Jason Catullo

The updated travel and transportation information below is designed to help SEMA Show exhibitors and attendees take advantage of the expanded options available during the week of the Show.

Monorail

The Las Vegas Monorail is one of the most popular transportation choices among Showgoers. This year, to add an extra level of convenience for SEMA Show exhibitors, the Las Vegas Monorail will begin running at 6:00 a.m. on the mornings of the 2015 SEMA Show. The extended morning hours will provide exhibitors with additional time to get to the Show and prepare prior to opening. Discounted monorail tickets for SEMA Show attendees and exhibitors are available online at https://tickets.lvmonorail.com/sema2015.

Taxis

With two taxi pick-up and drop-off locations at the SEMA Show, taking a taxi cab is a convenient option. Ideal for those looking for a direct ride from or to a specific location, taxis can be accessed from either the East end of the Performance Pavilion, or in the Blue Lot on the East end of the Grand Lobby, adjacent to Central Hall.

Shuttle Services

Hotel Shuttles: Available each morning and afternoon on Show days (Tuesday–Friday, November 3–6), complimentary shuttles runs every 20 minutes from select partner hotels to the Las Vegas Convention Center. The service is an easy, affordable alternative to taking a taxi or the Monorail to and from the Show each day. Specific hours and hotels are available on www.SEMAShow.com.

SEMA-to-AAPEX Shuttle: SEMA Show credentials provide access to the AAPEX Show at the Sands Expo Center, and the complimentary shuttle service to the AAPEX Show makes it easy for Showgoers to navigate between the SEMA and AAPEX shows. Hours and specific pick-up/drop-off locations can be found at www.SEMAShow.com.

SEMA Show Loop: To help navigate the SEMA Show, a complimentary SEMA Show Loop is available during Show hours to transport Showgoers from designated locations at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Visit www.SEMAShow.com for details.

Airport Shuttle: Available during designated hours on Thursday and Friday, an airport shuttle to McCarran International Airport is available for just $10. The shuttle makes it easy and affordable for those flying out to get a few extra hours in at the SEMA Show before departing. Details are available on www.SEMAShow.com.

Uber and Lyft

SEMA Show attendees and exhibitors have additional options for the 2015 SEMA Show as the ridesharing services Uber and Lyft are offering travel promotions.

Recently, Lyft was granted approval to provide service at Las Vegas McCarran Airport. To accommodate those at the SEMA Show, there will be designated pick-up and drop-off locations for both Lyft and Uber at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

SEMA Showgoers can download the Lyft app as the SEMA Show begins and get a free ride by entering promo code ‘SEMA’ in the Lyft app.

New Uber users can also get their first ride for free (up to $15) by signing up at get.uber.com/go/SEMASHOW, or downloading the app and entering promo code SEMASHOW before requesting a ride.
