Designer and engineer Bran Ferren will reveal his new off-road exploration RV the “KiraVan” inside the SEMA Show SCORE Baja 1000 Experience.

On Tuesday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m., legendary designer and engineer Bran Ferren, co-founder of renowned tech firm Applied Minds, will reveal to the world his new off-road exploration RV the “KiraVan” inside the SEMA Show SCORE Baja 1000 Experience at the Las Vegas Convention Center Silver Lot (in front of the South Hall).

Ferren’s latest project is a vehicle that can safely and comfortably transport his young daughter to any part of the world the family wishes to explore. From the arctic to the desert, this outrageous off-road vehicle is at the forefront of technology, equipped to protect and serve all of its passengers at an unsurpassed level. Tour the evolution of this expedition RV from conception to fruition, exploring its unparalleled features and meeting the masterminds behind the machine—from the scientists to the electricians, engineers and fabricators. This all-terrain vehicle is designed to survive the harshest conditions—extreme heat, extreme cold, from the rainforest to the desert, in flood or drought. It can travel 2,000 miles without resupply and has a tethered drone for a bird’s-eye view of what lies ahead.

In an emergency, KiraVan is equipped with its own “lifeboat”—a one-of-a-kind diesel motorcycle. There are Kevlar tires, more than a dozen interlocking communication systems and a cockpit designed by Story Musgrave, who performed the first shuttle spacewalk on Challenger’s first flight. With millions of dollars and countless hours invested, the KiraVan, upon its completion, will almost certainly be the most extreme, expensive recreational vehicle on the planet! Attendees of the 2015 SEMA Show will be the first people anywhere to see this machine—with TV cameras rolling!

The special episode of EXTREME RVs—“Top Secret Techno Monster”—will premiere the weekend following the SEMA Show, Sunday, November 8, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on the Travel Channel.
