The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has released a new version of its poster entitled, “Job Safety and Health – It's The Law!" The poster reminds workers of their rights and employers of their responsibilities. The updated version notes that employers are now required to report within eight hours when a worker has been killed on the job and within 24 hours when an employee suffers a work-related hospitalization, amputation or loss of an eye. Employers must display the poster (or a state version where applicable) in a conspicuous place where workers can see it. Previous versions of the poster do not need to be replaced.
