The Batmobile, designed by SEMA Hall of Famer George Barris, will be on display at the SEMA Garage Open House, July 17. |
The SEMA Garage Open House marks the completion of the 15,000-sq.-ft. facility that helps manufacturers develop automotive parts and accessories. Tools in the SEMA Garage include a portable coordinate measuring machine (CMM), a 3D printer, digital race car scales, a dyno and emissions lab, a training center and a photo cove stocked with an abundance of lights, strobe kits, umbrellas and more. The nearly $2 million worth of equipment makes it possible for auto parts manufacturers to develop products in as little as six weeks.
