Since 1984, the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $1.5 million in scholarships to more than 600 students interested in an automotive career. Scholarships are available for students pursing careers in the automotive industry who are working toward two- or four-year degrees.

A student may be eligible to receive a financial award of up to $5,000. Scholarship assistance is available for students pursuing automotive industry careers in accounting, administration, advertising, design/graphics, engineering, information technology, manufacturing, photography/journalism, race car driver/crew, restyling, sales/marketing, technicians and transportation.

One Full Ride Available: If you know of any students who are planning to attend Ohio Technical College (OTC) in the fall, they may be eligible to win a full ride to OTC valued at $29,400.

Loan Forgiveness: Awards are also available to recent graduates who are working for SEMA-member companies and are paying off existing student loans.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  •

If currently attending a two-year accredited community college or vocational/technical program, applicants must have completed a minimum of 25 credit hours.
