While the civilian ’13 Ford Taurus already revealed, the shooters at Brenda Priddy & Co. report that Ford is still hard at work on the police Interceptor version. Here's is a look at the camo-free high-horsepower, crime-fighting prototype.
According to Priddy, the updated Interceptor model will feature new front and rear fascias and LED taillights, just like the regular ’13 Ford Taurus—although the lower front fascia appears to be unique to the police version.
Under the hood, the 3.5L V6 will get a power bump to 290 hp, but this prototype—as per the badging—is powered by the Taurus SHO's 3.5 V6 Ecoboost with 400 hp.
