What Has SEMA Done for You Lately?

Cover Your Assets With Insurance Tailored to SEMA-Member Businesses

Recognizing that businesses within the specialty-equipment industry face unique insurance coverage needs, SEMA has partnered with Alliant Insurance Services to create the Specialty Equipment Insurance Alliance (SEIA), a program designed to assist SEMA-member companies in protecting their asset base, cash flow and employees’ welfare.

The driving force behind the SEIA program is to combine SEMA-member companies with automotive insurance risk specialists to aggregate the knowledge and buying power for the association’s members.

Products available to SEMA members through the SEIA program include: general liability; product liability; garage and garage keepers liability; commercial auto liability, including physical damage, property, crime/fiduciary, workers’ compensation insurance; employment practices liability; 401k and individual retirement plans; Internet liability; and life and disability.

In addition to these products, the Installers Edge insurance program was created and tailored to meet the needs of SEMA-member installers, specifically specialty auto parts installers, truck accessory retailers, jobbers, restylers and mobile installers. Coverage includes garage keepers, general liability, garage liability, mobile equipment, property and umbrella.
