The Wheel, Tire, Suspension, & Brake Council (WTSBC) select committee has unveiled a strategic plan that will elevate its member experience, drive engagement, and position the council as a leader in aftermarket education.
At the core its plan is the certified completion of educational content. The committee will launch its continuing education program so members can enhance their business, while satiating their curiosity.
The plan also emphasizes community building and member representation, with a goal to balance membership to reflect the full spectrum of wheel, tire, suspension, and brake representatives in the aftermarket. To accomplish this, a comprehensive review of both online and in-person platforms is underway to identify the most effective forums for recruitment, networking, and education.
Additionally, an exciting transformation is in store for the popular Coffee and Conversation series. The committee is evolving it as an interactive and dynamic platform with fresh content formats, broader distribution, and engaging elements designed to attract a diverse and growing audience.
To further foster peer-to-peer learning, the select committee is developing a centralized knowledgebase focused on its member segments where members will benefit from bundled services—including educational handouts, digital resources, and exclusive content.
Other initiatives include enhancing attendee experiences at the SEMA Show, launching a targeted membership marketing campaign, and increasing visibility of the WTSBC through an improved communication strategy.
With its ambitious roadmap, the select committee is poised to strengthen the WTSBC’s impact, enrich member engagement, and support continued innovation in the aftermarket.
