Education remains a cornerstone of the SEMA Wheel, Tire, Suspension & Brake Council (WTSBC) mission, and in 2026, we are expanding our efforts to ensure members have access to timely, relevant, and practical learning opportunities that support both business growth and professional development.
ADAS Education
A primary technical focus this year is Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). WTSBC will be developing educational sessions that explore the legal ramifications of ADAS, the implications of FMVSS 127, and the industry-wide effects of ADAS across the wheel, tire, suspension, and brake segments. These sessions will address how evolving regulations and technology are reshaping product development, installation, compliance, and long-term business strategy. Additional details on these programs will be released soon. Members who have questions or would like to share their specific needs related to ADAS are encouraged to contact Nicole Bradle at nicoleb@sema.org.
Cross-Council Opportunities
WTSBC encourages members to participate in two upcoming SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) virtual education sessions. On Feb. 10, 2026, “AI for Beginners: Understanding the Basics and Building Confidence” will help attendees learn how AI applies to the aftermarket, how to write effective prompts, and how beginner-friendly tools can improve productivity and spark innovation. On March 10, 2026, “The Maven Mindset: How to Go from Stuck to GSD” will introduce a practical framework for turning ideas into action through clarity, values alignment, and intentional goal setting.
