The SEMA Wheel, Tire, Suspension, & Brake Council (WTSBC) education committee is excited to begin pursuing educational opportunities aligned with the needs of our members and their customers. Over the next several months we will be reviewing and starting to deploy new initiatives with a variety of objectives and ideal audiences.
In the near term, the education committee will be focusing on developing new educational assets in different formats to provide at a glance resource for in the shop and behind the counter use. Potential topics include:
- Proper Maintenance for Modified Vehicles
- Vehicle Dynamics and Setup Guides
- Towing Best Practices and Supplementary Equipment
- How to Measure for Compatibility
These assets will serve to drive adoption of best practices, standardization of terms and measurements, as well as demystifying common myths or assumptions.
As we look farther into the future, the education committee has strategic goals of developing a central location for wheel, tire, suspension, and brake focused learning tools and recognition for those who have completed significant portions of the learning objectives.
As in previous years, the WTSBC education committee will continue to support Coffee and Conversation, both virtual and in-person at the SEMA Show, as well as our annual Wheels Up at the SEMA Show 2025.
