SEMA supports Right-to-Repair and Right-to-Modify initiatives on behalf of its members. A recent example of SEMA’s efforts is support of legislation that would require vehicle manufacturers to share ADAS calibration procedures associated with upcoming Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) standards. This will help the aftermarket develop products and services that keep vehicles compliant with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) following aftermarket modifications.
