Wheel and Tire Council,

We are constantly working to provide new value propositions to the members of WTC by brainstorming on new programs or improving those that have already proven to be successful. WTC held somewhat of a leadership conference last week to discuss these exact topics. The group determined, that currently WTC is focusing on networking opportunities, market trends in technology, business, & regulation, and how we meet the challenges of the future. I want to personally thank Tyson Boyer, Todd Steen and Gavin Horlick for spending time and resources to meet in Nashville, TN last week to discuss all things WTC. These meetings left me extremely hopeful and energized about the future of WTC and I would imagine it would be the same for all who participated.

On a more somber note, most of you may already know but about two weeks ago we lost a colleague, friend, leader and personal advisor in Wayne Williams. While not currently sitting on the select committee, he still made his presence felt by attending events and always offering sound advice through his wisdom and years of expertise in the wheel and tire industry. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, TIA, and the rest of his family.

Remember to give your loved ones an extra hug and keep working hard.

All the best,

Gregory Parker

Chairman, Wheel & Tire Council
