The WTC presented Hank Feldman of Performance Plus Tire with the WTC Lifetime Achievement Award, and inducted Doug Dwyer of Truespoke Wire Wheels/Motorspot Inc. into the WTC Hall of Fame at the 2023 SEMA Show WTC Reception in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dwyer started his career working for Carroll Shelby Enterprises/Goodyear Racing Tire Division in 1964, he was just 16. His career path was interrupted when he was Drafted into the Service in 1968. To this day, Dwyer's name is still listed on the 1965 Shelby American Employees Roster!

When Dwyer returned from Vietnam, he continued to service race tires at various tracks, which led to a sales position with Appliance Industries, eventually becoming Vice President of Sales and Marketing. During his tenure the company was twice awarded the J.C. Penny Auto Center Supplier of the Year Award and the Million Dollar Vendor Achievement Award.

In the 20 years following, Dwyer worked at Sales & Engineering for Truespoke Wire Wheels, as well as Sales and Marketing Director for Weld Wheels. In the 1980s he helped shape the Low Rider market with new fitments to meet that demand. Later, Dwyer was VP of Senter Engineering, and General Manager and founder of Epsilon wheels. Dwyer was also President and founder of Simmons Wheels US: all the while working as manager of Wheel City, Gardena California.
