SEMA Show Planning Tips for TORA Members

The truck and off-road industry will once again unite at the 2022 SEMA Show, the premier gathering for the specialty-equipment market, November 1–4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

With nearly 1,700 companies – including hundreds from the truck and off-road, and the UTV/powersports segments – scheduled to exhibit at the upcoming event, the 2022 SEMA Show will give attendees plenty to see and do. TORA members have several opportunities to expand their involvement at the SEMA Show. Here are some notes to help TORA members prepare for this year's Show:

1. Register early. Registration for the 2022 SEMA Show is offered in three categories—attendee, exhibitor and media at www.semashow.com/register. TORA members are encouraged to register early to secure their credentials and receive updates on breaking news from the 2022 SEMA Show. Check the live floorplan to see where the companies you need to interact with will be located. For the most part, TORA members will likely want to focus on West Hall, where truck and off-road exhibitors are.

2. Attend the SEMA Show Exhibitor Summit. This tip is specific for exhibitors. Often described as one of the best-kept secrets, the Exhibitor Summit is a two-and-a-half day event in late July that helps exhibitors get greater ROI from their investment. SEMA Show organizers share insights on the different programs available to help get more buyers to a booth, increase awareness of new products and more. Hotel and food is fully paid for by SEMA. All the exhibitor needs to do is take care of the travel.

3. Lock in the lowest hotel rate by booking on the SEMA Show Block. SEMA works with dozens of hotels in Las Vegas to provide Showgoers with the most affordable hotel options. Reservations simply need to be made through the official SEMA Show housing provider found on the website, and low prices are guaranteed – even after reservations are set. There are generous cancellation policies and visitors are even able to apply their loyalty points to the reservation.
