Volunteers pose together

The SEMA Truck & Off-Road Alliance (TORA) is calling on volunteers to support a hands-on trail stewardship project during Easter Jeep Safari along the first two miles of the Kane Creek Safari Route in Moab, Utah.

Led by SEMA and Tread Lightly!, in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Off-Road Business Association (ORBA), the project will take place Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 9:00 a.m.–approximately 2:00 p.m. MDT.

Why Your Participation Matters
This project will help protect sensitive land, clearly define the travel route, and support long-term motorized trail access. More than that, it’s an opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to responsible recreation and keeping trails open.

Event Details

  • Meet-Up: 9:00 a.m. near Kane Creek Road
  • Departure to Trail: 9:30 a.m.
  • Estimated Finish: By 2:00 p.m. (projects may finish earlier with strong volunteer turnout)
  • Work Type: Light to moderate physical activity, including post setting, rail placement, and site cleanup
  • Lunch: Provided by TORA

To maintain trail access during the project, participation will be limited to 15 vehicles on the trail. Volunteers are encouraged to carpool, and additional parking will be available near the trailhead.

Sign up today to help protect trail access and support the responsible recreation that keeps the off-road industry moving forward.
