SBN was recently awarded the Group Achievement Award from the Automotive Women's Alliance Foundation.

The Group Achievement Award is given to a group of women who work together to make an exceptional contribution to the automotive and mobility industry. This includes exemplary teamwork and leadership exhibited and the significance of the accomplishment.

SBN members Keri Porter of Discover 4x4 Adventure, and Sherry Kollien of Motor City Solutions, accepted the award on behalf of the SBN at the AWA Foundation award ceremony.

"AWA Foundation, like the SBN, has a goal to bring education, support, and mentorship to women by women in the automotive industry. It was rewarding and humbling to be a part of a project that was recognized by our peers and mentors in the industry," said Porter. "Sometimes as a woman in a male dominated industry you can feel isolated. The SEMA Bronco Build changed that narrative. I also had the opportunity to challenge myself and learn in areas of expertise that my knowledge is very limited. As a participant, I walked away feeling a sense of ownership and pride, belonging to a team, encouraged and strengthened by my peers, and grew my network vastly within the automotive industry."

Kollien added:

"I met some amazing ladies in the automotive industry by attending the AWA Foundation event. It was an honor to receive the award on behalf of the awesome ladies of the SBN Bronco Build."

Congratulations to SBN's amazing build volunteers for this amazing accomplishment!
