SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) members recently gathered for a fun Virtual Wine Tasting Night featuring quality networking, learning, and strengthening industry connections in a relaxed setting.

The interactive evening blended wine education with casual conversation, allowing members and volunteers to connect outside of traditional meetings and events. Sessions like these continue to highlight the value of relationship-building in informal environments, where attendees can get to know one another on a more personal level while expanding their professional networks.

The program featured wine education led by SBN volunteers. Attendees learned about the wine rating system, different varietals and how they pair with foods and even how to work with a sommelier at a business dinner to pick a great wine without going over budget.

The session also included practical advice on building a wine glass collection, with recommendations to explore affordable options online and at discount retailers. Additional discussions covered wine accessories, cork-handling tips and fun considerations when hosting an event.

The evening reinforced one of SBN’s core strengths: creating meaningful opportunities for members to engage with one another in authentic and welcoming ways. Whether discussing career growth, industry experiences or favorite wine selections, the event provided an atmosphere that encouraged conversation, mentorship and community-building.

As SBN continues developing both educational and networking opportunities, events like Virtual Wine Tasting Night help strengthen the relationships that support women across the automotive aftermarket industry.
