The SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) successfully hosted its Gear Up Girl Luncheon on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the PRI Show. The event brought together more than 85 attendees for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and career development.
The luncheon supported students and women who are new to the industry, while providing them with access to successful aftermarket and motorsports professionals. Following a complimentary lunch, organizers kicked off a speed networking session designed to spark meaningful connections.
Tables rotated every seven minutes, allowing participants to meet a wide range of peers and industry leaders. The energetic and welcoming environment made it easy for students and early-career professionals to ask questions, share interests, and gain insight into potential career paths.
Quality Connections
The Gear Up Girl Luncheon offered students a valuable opportunity to expand professional networks while gaining confidence in navigating industry conversations. For seasoned professionals, the event provided a chance to share experiences, offer guidance, and foster a more inclusive and supportive industry pipeline.
Through events like the Gear Up Girl Luncheon, SBN creates spaces where women can connect across experience levels, build relationships, and feel supported as they enter and grow within the industry. By bringing together students, emerging professionals, and established leaders in an intentional setting, SBN continues to strengthen the future of the industry, one conversation at a time.
