Internal Innovator Education

Innovation doesn’t just come from startups—it often begins within organizations themselves. That’s the focus of the Internal Innovator session, powered by the SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) and Future Leaders Network (FLN), taking place Wednesday, November 5, from 3:00–4:00 p.m. in Room N257 at the 2025 SEMA Show.

This session will explore the concept of intrapreneurship, where employees adopt an entrepreneurial mindset to create new ideas, products and processes from inside their organizations. Unlike entrepreneurs who operate independently, intrapreneurs benefit from the resources and support of their companies while driving meaningful change and innovation.

The discussion will feature a dynamic panel of leaders who have championed intrapreneurship within their own organizations:

  • Moderator: Tiffanie Hartenstein, ORACLE Lighting
  • Panelists: Alison Kelsey, Race Winning Brands; David Buckley, Race Winning Brands; Kirstin Backes, Cobb Tuning; Heather Tausch, Corsa & Volant; Lauren Osina, Malco Automotive

Attendees will gain practical insights into how intrapreneurs thrive, the challenges they face and how companies can leverage this talent to fuel growth, attract top performers and maintain a competitive edge.

“Intrapreneurs are change-makers,” said Tiffanie Hartenstein, SBN Chair. “They bring the creativity and drive of entrepreneurs but channel it into strengthening the organizations they work for. This session will show both employees and employers how to tap into that potential.”

This is a must-attend session for anyone interested in driving innovation—whether you identify as an intrapreneur yourself or you lead a team of them. Join us to discover how embracing intrapreneurship can help advance your business and elevate your career.
