SEMA’s virtual series “Industry Talks: Back to Business” continued on July 17 with an informational session on the realities of returning to work and provided best practices for getting back to business following the recent economic disruption. Those unable to attend will be able to view the recorded panel discussion online next week at www.sema.org/reopen.

Hosted by SBN, the event was led by select committee member Rebeca Olavarrieta and addressed the common realities SBN members are facing while they return to their offices and shops. Discussion topics included working from home, making up for lost business opportunities, providing flexibility to staff, and finding work-life balance through a crisis. Kim Pendergast of Magnuson Superchargers, Lacey Little of DeeZee, Melanie White of Hellwig Products, and Rich Barsamian of ACT served as guest panelists.

“While many companies begin to operate again at full capacity, they are faced with new challenges and questions on how to strengthen their business in the current landscape,” said SBN Council Director Nicole Bradle. “This event provided our members with insight on how other SBN members are overcoming challenges and getting back to business.”

This event was the second of SEMA’s “Industry Talks: Back to Business” virtual series. The recording of this event and upcoming sessions will be listed on SEMA’s Back to Business resource page at  www.sema.org/reopen
