In 2025, the SBN plans to host a booth at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, that not only connects with women but fosters meaningful networking and collaboration. We are working towards highlighting female leaders, various women’s organizations, groundbreaking women-led builds, and the history of women in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Why? Because it is vital to showcase the ongoing growth of women in our field and reflect on both past accomplishments and current innovations.

This new booth concept offers a space where women can expand their networks, feel connected, and recognize their place in the industry. We are eager to offer this opportunity for women to engage with one another and further strengthen their involvement not only within SEMA but at SEMA Show as well.

The Select Committee has been working diligently on our five-year plan, ensuring we stay aligned with our goals and aspirations. In March 2025, our Select Committee will meet for the next Long-Range Planning (LRP) session, where we will review our current objectives and set new ones. It is crucial for us to remain focused on our mission: to educate, inspire, and connect women in our industry.

We value the input of our community and would love to hear your thoughts or ideas. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of our Select Committee members or SEMA staff, and we will ensure your ideas are explored.

Why is this important to you? Why do we need both women and men to support this mission?

The power of one person’s recommendation can mean more than we realize. It can be the spark that encourages someone to broaden their horizons. As I reflect on my 27 years in the industry and the last five years with SBN, I am reminded of the critical role a strong community plays in supporting and guiding your career.

I have found that community with SEMA, and especially with SBN. I want to remind our members how vital it is to be a friend and a mentor. I highly encourage women to join SBN, find mentors, make lasting connections, and—just as importantly—be that mentor for someone else.
