Two women speaking to each other

The SEMA Businesswomen's Network is powered by passionate volunteers who are committed to supporting women across the automotive aftermarket. Whether you have an hour a month, or are looking to take on a larger role, there's a place for you to get involved, share your talents and help shape the future of SBN.

Volunteering doesn't have to mean a huge time commitment. Most committees meet just once a month for 30, 45 or 60 minutes, depending on the committee. Can't make every meeting? That's okay! Many volunteers contribute through email between meetings, making it easy to stay involved while balancing work and personal commitments.

Not sure where you fit? Consider what you enjoy most:

  • Love connecting with people? Join the Engagement Committee and help welcome new members, connect with current members and ensure they know about the many resources SBN has to offer.
  • Creative and enjoy marketing? The Communications Committee is looking for volunteers to create graphics, photo collages, videos, write newsletter articles, gather content and help share SBN news and events across social media.
  • Passionate about celebrating women in the industry? The #SheIsSEMA Committee promotes the spotlight program, encourages submissions and supports the SBN Booth at the SEMA Show. It's a great opportunity to help shine a light on the incredible women making an impact throughout the aftermarket.
  • Love planning memorable experiences? The Events Committee develops engaging networking opportunities, promotes Gear Up Girl events at SEMA and PRI and helps plan both virtual and in-person events that bring members together.
  • Enjoy developing educational experiences? The Women's Leadership Forum Committee helps shape one of SBN's premier events by creating educational programming and identifying new networking opportunities for attendees.
  • Want to help members grow? The Resources Committee develops educational content, suggests speakers and topics, creates online resources and helps build tools that support students, professionals and allies across the industry.

No matter your experience, ideas or availability, your perspective matters. Volunteering is one of the best ways to expand your network, develop new leadership skills, give back to the industry and help create meaningful experiences for fellow SBN members.

We invite you to find the committee that matches your interests and join us in making an even greater impact. Together, we can continue building a stronger, more connected community for women in the automotive aftermarket.
