Recognizing the professional opportunities available for women in the specialty equipment industry is a top priority of the SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN). Likewise, the council is also dedicated to raising awareness of women in the industry who have excelled in their careers and have positively impacted the growth of the automotive aftermarket.
The SBN is currently accepting applications for women to be featured in the #SheIsSEMA spotlight campaign to help raise awareness of career possibilities and spotlight successful women in the specialty equipment aftermarket. The #SheIsSEMA spotlight will feature how these women landed their careers and how they continue to thrive in a male-dominated industry.
“The SBN represents a collective group of the industry’s most inspiring business leaders, women entrepreneurs, and industry advocates,” said Lana Chrisman, Chair of the SEMA Businesswomen’s Network. “By participating in the program, SBN members are given the opportunity to connect, share their voice, and become more engaged in the industry.”
Do you know, or are you a woman with a career in the automotive industry?
