As we begin a new year, it’s a great time to reflect on the value of connection, involvement, and community within SEMA and the SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN). Being engaged isn’t just about attending events—it’s about showing up, contributing, and growing alongside peers who are shaping the future of our industry.

Getting Involved

One of the most impactful ways to get involved with SBN is by volunteering on a committee. This offers you the opportunity to expand your professional network, build leadership skills, gain exposure to new perspectives, and participate in meaningful mentoring relationships. At the same time, your company benefits through increased visibility, brand recognition, and having team members who are more connected, informed, and invested in the aftermarket community.

Increasing the number of volunteers and enhancing volunteer experience is a key focus for SBN in 2026. Our goal is to create more accessible, rewarding ways for members to engage—whether you’re new to SBN or a longtime supporter ready to take the next step.

High-Impact Programs

SBN remains committed to delivering high-impact resources and programming. Highlights include the Women’s Leadership Forum, happening March 3–5, 2026, at the Humphreys Half Moon Inn in San Diego, Calif. Our virtual education series will continue throughout the year, along with a virtual wine event designed to foster connections in a relaxed setting. Members can also engage through SBN educational sessions at the SEMA Show, as well as Gear Up Girl events at both the SEMA and PRI Shows, which inspire the next generation of industry leaders.

Take the Next Step

Your involvement matters. Together, we can strengthen SBN, support our members, and continue building a more connected and inclusive aftermarket industry.
