Gear Up Girl

The SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) invites you to join one of the most impactful networking events at the SEMA Show—Gear Up Girl, taking place Wednesday, November 5, from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. in the West Hall W208 Prefunction.

Created to connect female students and women new to the industry with established professionals, Gear Up Girl is a high-energy, fast-paced hour designed to spark conversations, create connections and help women discover their place in the automotive aftermarket. Attendees will take part in interactive activities like human bingo, which encourages participants to meet new people, share stories and build relationships that last far beyond the Show floor.

Gear Up Girl is more than just an event—it’s about building a tribe. Students and newcomers will meet industry veterans who can offer guidance, encouragement and insight into the wide variety of career paths available in the aftermarket. By creating these early connections, tomorrow’s leaders gain the support system they need to thrive.

The program will also feature the presentation of the prestigious Jessi Combs Rising Star Award, recognizing a woman under 30 who is making remarkable strides in her career while paving the way for others.

“Gear Up Girl is where connections begin and confidence grows. It’s an hour that can truly change the trajectory of a young woman’s career in the aftermarket,” said Paris Hull, SBN Events Chair.

Don’t miss Gear Up Girl—where connections are made, leaders are inspired and the future takes shape.
